A little bit of poetry for days when you feel cross ....

When you are cross 

 

And feel at a loss 

 

Recognise your emotions 

 

And allow yourself to go through the motions, 

 

By letting go and feeling your pains,

 

Then let them move on, so you can remain calm and sane.

 

 

 

When you feel like you want to react, 

 

Step back and breathe, to keep you on track

 

Look at the scenario and connect to your heart

 

Remove all the conflict, judgement and then start...

 

to respond in a way that is kind but honest

 

So nothing is confused and you can promise 

 

to both yourself and others that you have communicated clearly 

 

your feelings, your hurt, your confusion.... and then everyone can move on freely.
